Staunton, Virginia
Project Specifications:
Size: 87,120 Square Feet
Lineage was hired to provide services for the creation of a new 1700s West African Farm Compound exhibit. The initial scope was for civil/site design services only. A change order was the result of The Frontier Culture Museum requesting architectural design services to obtain BCOM approval for the project. A Nigerian architect developed design documents to ensure that the project was historically accurate. The huts are crafted out of heavy mud and timber and cover 2 acres of land.
